Development Manager

Are you looking for a fast-paced role as a Development Manager? Keen to support early-stage VCSE organisations, identify new opportunities and scale up our programmes?

Capacity is looking for somone who can demonstrate a strong performance history in previous development roles with a track record of successful entrepreneurial activity and securing contract opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to address social problems in a rapidly changing landscape. You must have exceptional problem solving skills, a sound understanding of public services, the ability to produce innovative businesses cases and work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Board Member: Transforming Choice CIC

Transforming Choice CIC, a partner organisation of Capacity: The Public Services Lab, are looking for three dynamic, forward thinking individuals to join their Board of Directors.

The Board will support the organisation to increase its capacity and drive planned growth over the next few years. Transforming Choice have an exciting journey ahead, expanding provision and reach to enable them to provide vital alcohol services in the North West. Board members will be required to attend four meetings per year, and will be expected to participate in some organisational activity, advising staff and supporting the strategic growth and development of the organisation.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience of:

  • Fundraising
  • Social enterprises
  • Public sector commissioning
  • Developing and implementing new business models
  • Substance misuse
